Nike !!!!

NIKE, the world's #1 in sports apparels, does more dominating than assisting they have stolen half the market when it comes to sports Apparels.
The Nike athletic machine began as a small distributing outfit located in the trunk of Phil Knight's car. From these rather inauspicious beginnings, Knight's brainchild grew to become the shoe and athletic company that would come to define many aspects of popular culture and myriad varieties of 'cool.' Now you might ask who Phil Knight is...

Well for all those people who don't know. Phil was and is the founder of NIKE>







The SWOOSH logo is a graphic design created by Caroline Davidson in 1971. It represents the wing of the Greek Goddess NIKE. Caroline Davidson was a student at Portland State University in advertising. She met Phil Knight while he was teaching accounting classes and she started doing some freelance work for his company. Phil Knight asked Caroline to design a logo that could be placed on the side of a shoe. She handed him the SWOOSH, he handed her $35.00. In spring of 1972, the first shoe with the NIKE SWOOSH was introduced.....the rest is history!

And now might i add as of today Nike's Logo is worth billions.


For all those people who say Nike is Crap or they suck boo hoo etc ..
Let me ask you this why do they have 33 competitors in the Shoe segment alone ?
why exactly do they have companies like Adidas and Reebok merging together just to meet higher sales to "BEAT NIKE"
Why would they be 140 on the fortune 500 companies in the World.

So before you think about dissing a company or what they do.. get your facts straight!!

The Brazil football team is just a football team
The Bugatti Veron is just a car
Alan Iver son is just a basket ball player
Microsoft is just a software company.....

Similarly Nike is just a company except all of the above have one thing in common....

They are frigging good at what they do.....
In simple terms .. They would not be #1 if they were not good at what they do.

Remember Nike didn't say "WE HAVE THE HIGHEST QUALITY SHOES MADE THROUGH STATE OF THE ART PROCESSES OF THE BEST PROCUREMENT MATERIAL MEANING THEY ARE LONG LASTING, DURABLE AND OFFERED AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE POINT".
